What is a Mentor?
The term Mentor means something different for everyone, but at HighTechU our mentors are experienced volunteers from the Canadian technology industry who support our program participants and staff through advice, feedback and guidance in our various programs and initiatives, including:
- Becoming a Q&A Corner Interviewee
- Sitting on our Advisory Group
- Review Academy Project Code
- Attending Events and Advocating
How does it work?
Supported by our team of experienced educators, we offer Mentors the chance to share their knowledge and expertise with BC Youth, inspiring the next generation of innovator to pursue a career in tech.
Who can be a Mentor?
Our Mentors come from across the technology industry, in both technical and non-technical roles.
